I'd like to become a better trader

    Many traders would say that freedom is their goal, but it means more then just financial independence. It means being able to experience life with an unbridled capacity for joy, regardless of your financial condition. It means learning to experience joy in the process of living. [/B][/QUOTE] as long as your talking about processes,it's about time you changed your handle best,drop the loser

    I agree with Ammo

    You're nowhere near a loser... you just have losing trades - like the rest of us

    But BL is not the same as he was last month - imo

    And I think, more importantly, he is beginning to realize it

    What’s the good word….

    If I know half as much as I think… are you possibly going through a bit of doubt?

    Something to the effect

    If every trade’s outcome is uncertain, how the hell do I cope in that environment…

    If you are – we’ve been there… it’s not an insurmountable obstacle…

    If I’m wrong – then what’s up??

    thank you everybody for the comments and RN for encouragement. I needed to step away from trading for a few days to regroup and to finish up setting up my charts and software.

    I\'m thinking about changing my name because I got so many negative comments about it, but how do i do that? Do I need to create a new handle and just start a new thread? but then I would lose all these comments? or I can just post a link to the old thread in the new one? any ideas?

    thanks.

    I'm finally posting the screen-shot of my charts that I'm looking at when trading.

    Hey BL

    You can try posting a request in feedback and ask Baron or Joe to change it.. BUT

    Only change it if you want to… not because any of us are suggesting too

    It must be your decision… and it must be because you’ve decided it is best

    The other way is to sign up, again, with a different moniker and link to this thread like you stated

    But again; Do this because You want too…

    Some people hate rednecks – personally I wouldn’t change my moniker for anything… (screw em)

    ==============================================================================================

    As for the encouragement – here’s a lesson

    Prelude to the lesson

    When I first posted – I bet you thought all kinds of bad things about me

    I was an ass
    I was trying to humiliate you
    I was mad at you
    Etc.

    What changed your opinion – Context (what my subsequent posts contained, and the way they were presented)

    ===================================================================================================

    The lesson;

    When trading context is vital

    You need enough, so it will tell you which side of price to be on

    You don’t need more than enough – as it causes clutter and confusion

    Enough – is different for each of us - you will need to define your enough..

    ==============================================================================================

    On another note;

    I’m going to send you a PM this weekend, and I’m going to copy two other members so you know what I send you is not BS

    I have no doubt these two members call it like they see it

    Talk later

    Here is my suggestion.

    JUST GIVE UP

    More than 90% of small traders (newbies and amateurs) lose!!!

    If you follow my advise, will save you thousands of dollars.

    If you don't believe me, do this. When you begin trading live, count how many losses. How much more should you lose

    Trading is for professionals (funds, HFT, prop traders, bankers) only.
