  2. "volunteer needed for head-butt- no experience required."

    well at least I am following my plan to exit all my January options strategies this week (except taking delivery on some underlying) raise cash and start trading size on Monday. Good thing the market will be open all year.

    well, too bad I didn't just keep SOME Goog puts. I know myself and my pattern is to very often be early------ but very rarely wrong. So I need to stay the course, and even add-on. Just trying to figure out what was my motivation for scratching GOOG puts without rolling into a higher strike --- on the last feeble move higher!

  8. you once told me Gordon: "don't get emotional about stocks--- don't" !!

    Sorry guys- but one has got to have some passion about what they do, so I can't help myself --- this market is such a fantastic trading market - even losses are more fun lately in a market with so many opportunities available.

  9. added 10 APOL Feb 60c @ .40

    now +20 APOL Feb 60 calls @ .825

    u/r pnl = (-850)

    closed (2) APOL Feb 55c @ 1.75 (sold @ 4.20)

    pnl = +490

    Posted in this Journal my thoughts that APOL could easily be pinned back to 55 after the CEo resigned. It was easy picking for the shorts, and I always try to think about what the big players might do in the st. So I made an error in not selling front month 55 calls; missed a lot of easy profit in hindsight. Once again let my bias get in the way of the option math on this one.

    But we have only lost one battle- the War not over yet on APOL.

  10. covered @ 78.8 (figure it could close near 80)

    sold Feb 80p
    sold Jan 80c
    sold Jan 80p

    let's see what happens- one more day to sweat

    no too insane - yesterday its down in AH looking like its heading for 75 - today its up @ 81+ = power of options expiry.

    What's more insane is EBAY. I stayed long Feb 4250 calls/short 45 calls/short45p even though I saw it down in AH near 4150 so I was thinking said calls would get hammered today. I wake up- its >45.

    wonder if metoxx plays AAPL/EBAY - is he still around ?
