ICE U.S. Trust cleared USD7.15 billion in CDS in its first week as CDS Clearinghouse

  1. ICE U.S. Trust cleared USD7.15 billion in credit default swaps in its first week of operation as a CDS clearinghouse.

    According to Intercontinental Exchange, which created the unit in the week ended March 13, there were 91 transactions to clear bilateral trades in the Markit CDX North America Investment Grade Index Series 10. ICE also noted that ICE U.S. Trust has USD3.27 billion in notional value of cleared contracts that are open interest.
