  1. jem? lol. he will take this sentence right here and say "see scientists agree with me" and dismiss every thing else in the article.
    " At some points, it seemed that the temperatures warmed before the carbon dioxide levels increased"

  2. This is true. He, and the other deniers here cannot even acknowledge CO2 is greenhouse gas because to do so would force them into cognitive dissonance. They will say "Look! A red herring!".

    I'm presuming the usual suspects are responding with their usual stupid remarks. Thankfully I'm ignoring 377, Phoenix and denner because of the way they insult homosexuals and folks parents. Let me know if they say anything of value or substance. I doubt it.

  3. How about sharing with us what greenhouses are used for?

  4. =============

    Great points.Another danger with the global warming scam;
    computer ''predictions'' can be frequently wrong. Especially predictions concerning the future of weather.:D

    Now that they changed the name to ''climate change'':D Wow, WSJ[Sat,SundayJUNE 3] reported in the sun shine state ''mild winter'';
    vegtable prices changed/ proceeded to downtrend.Cool:cool:

    And i would not call it ''global cooling'' even though thats what the media called it in the 1970's. Same WSJ arrticle noted the hard hit cherry crop. Problem was ''sucessive nights of hard freeze''.

    None of this post is a prediction.Rich Dennis said ''exspect extremes'':cool:

    The carbon taxes part.

  7. Exactamundo! That ice was going to melt regardless of the tax rate, and the biggest polluters will continue to pollute regardless of any carbon tax rate. They'll just buy those Al Gore type credits and keep on keeping on, just like old Al will do himself. He won't cut back! He won't change his habits or lifestyle. That will fall on you and me, and there will be no change of any substance in the environment. And that's if you buy the whole man made only global warming argument in the first place.

    In spite of imperfections (which you find with anything Man is doing) cap and trade does succeed. We have and need laws and their enforcement even if they won't eliminate all crime.

  10. Yup. Times up. If we don't act now the earth and it's inhabitants are screwed.

    Levels of CO2 in the arctic are now at 400 ppm and the ice is not doing too well.....

    Oh btw, a key sentence in the article is this "One scientist even speculated that summer sea ice could be gone in five years."

    One, as in only one, and he is a physicist not a climatologist or an oceanographer. And he is only one. One they write about because he says dramatic things. Because that sells magazines. The more reasonable estimates never get mentioned because they're boring.
