I'm thinking about opening an IB account primarily for futures trading. I have read that the Trader Workstation's charts are very limited, and I was curious to hear what anybody has to say about TWS charts (and limitations of).. I figure that as long as they're real time, I should be alright. Scottrade charts work fine for me. Thanks in advance, Joe Buck
IB charts are not real-time (at least not the volume part). IB charts are really bad, and improvements get made at a snails pace - so you're best bet is to use QuoteTracker charts if you chose IB as a broker.
