    VIX at 90? Riiiight. We're not privy to their vega-exposure. Path-dependency has a lot to do with their returns on gamma, but none of us know their absolute $exposures. I can't think of any bank/broker/MM who produced a 58% income gain, YoY.

    Electronic market maker and broker Interactive Brokers Group Inc. said Friday its second-quarter earnings rose 58 percent due to an increase in trading gains, but it fell short of analysts' expectations.

  2. Agreed, the relative performance is exceptional, as expected.

    But the market is paying for absolute performance.

    Thus the haircut.

  4. I agree, IBKR seems to be a stock that never had a chance to take off after it IPOed. The fact that it is holding its own now, shows that it could certainly take off once the financial fear subsides.
