4:20PM Interactive Brokers beats by $0.20, beats on revs (IBKR) 32.73 +0.83 : Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.53 per share, $0.20 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.33; revenues rose 31.0% year/year to $445.1 mln vs the $356 mln consensus. "The third quarter was an all time record for us, both in our brokerage and in our market making businesses, as both segments benefited from increased volatility and trading volumes in the exchange-listed derivatives space.. Our record results in market making, in a quarter that was challenging for many of our competitors, demonstrate the advantages of our automated systems that adapt quickly to turbulent markets where liquidity is most needed."
