IBKR outage?

Very annoying. I am all set and can hopefully wait it out but it's not good.

 

I did stop trading alltoghether for today...
possibly problem will propagate to us farms...

 

Seems people are able to connect using a VPN and selecting a US connection.

 

Still all ok for me (US).

Edit: Actually, I wish mine had been down. Then I wouldn't have been able to take the dumbass trade I did!

 

All things run normal again.

 

I'm running automated trading for US Stocks - checked logs quickly, don't see any issues today.

 

Do you connect through TWS or IB Gateway? Are they connecting to the same servers?

 

IB Gateway. I use TWS maybe once in couple of months so not sure.

 

Gateway and TWS use the same servers at IB. Basically Gateway is "TWS without GUI".

 

IBKR down... again... worldwide this time as it seems (see Twitter).
Wow, that's not good, only a bit more than a week after the last outage...
