Jackass Cramer should have spent more time selling TSCuM and rolling it into a IBKR, instead of talking 'run on the bank trash' as was reported here. I never saw that article, but would not put it past him.
Should be blue sky once this financing is done tonight: "Interactive Brokers Group Inc. said Monday that WR Hambrecht & Co. will lead an offering of up to 50 million class A shares in a Dutch auction after the market closes Wednesday. The company can choose to sell up to 50 million shares at or above $33.50 per share. No bids below $33.50 will be accepted in the auction. Interactive Brokers has agreed not to register another public offering of shares until at least April 15, 2009, and will deregister any unsold shares that remain after the auction. "
I took IBKR for 9.75 points in my previous IBKR trade. I bought another 3k here at ~25.30. $26.62 average on 6k. I only average down on stocks I am willing to hold for a quarter or more.
Lets face it, the call wasn't that great and earnings might be 20% less this year than many were hoping for. Looks like a repricing of expectations.
