If I own IBKR puts in my IBKR account, are these covered by SIPC insurance up to $500k ?

 

Not good, got my buy order in at $$$10.

 

why do we allways assume its bad news. What cant it be happy news?

I've always felt IBKR was a great buy by a major financial firm who could invest in revamping their technology and improving their horrendous/non-existent customer service

 

Halting trading is not usually done when things are peaches and cream
