  1. def,

any firm date for being able to trade the Kospi & the South African fuures via IB?

Aa per the excerpt below, can you share more detail: what new markets and when, what FX dealers and when, what real-time risk mgmt tools and when, etc??

Also why doesn't IB simulate MOO, MOC orders on futures. It seems MOO & MOC orders only work on US equities???

MANY THANKS for helping us here!

    ============

    IB will soon announce:

-- The addition of new markets so that professionals can trade equities,
options, futures, forex and bonds in more destinations worldwide from
    a single Universal account

-- Additional forex dealers to keep IB forex spreads the tightest in the
    industry

-- Additional real-time risk management tools to assess portfolio risk
    throughout the day

-- Enhancement to IB's smart-router to take advantage of rule changes in
the marketplace and always ensure best-execution

-- Additional charting and market scanner functionality

  2. I do believe that is exchange imposed....asking IB to do away with that is like asking a retailer to eat the sales tax on your purchase. Def correct me if i`m wrong.

    lets get it fixed

  7. Exactly. You'd have to pay me .005 to run TWS on my PC. I pay 0.002 but don't PM me about which broker.

But, it is a step in the right direction for IB eventhough it took forever.

If you trade Naz and are a liquidity taker, it's a hell of a deal. $0.005 - $0.003 (ECN) - $0.0005 (half SEC fee for $25 stock) = $0.0015 commission. There aren't a lot of firms with commish that low, and you have to trade a ton of volume to get it.
