Same here. If I'm in a position and don't have enough margin, IB automatically gets me out of the position in the 3:46 PM EST minute. Can anyone suggest a futures broker that offers lower intra-day margins than IB and doesn't kick in ON margin until much closer to the close? (I have a trading system that gets me out at 4:10PM EST). (after going thru 5-6 others) His name is J.R. - his number is 866 761-7197. has all the major trading platforms and competitive commissions. I cant say enough good about him or his firm. (spiketrading.com) $500 margins on emini and i get out (election) before 4:15. Theres no restrictions on the pre-market trading either.
