Is the latest TWS version 879 supposed to make you type the passcode if TWS gets disconnected and tries to get reconnected?

  5. fyi, just wanted to add that the system says it's running the lastest version when checking for TWS updates, but the version installed is the 878.5

In my case the system hasn't been alerting of the new version at startup.

  6. Excuse me dst. I just noticed TWS 879 is not available to download as stand alone.

    So never mind..

Still, it seems version 878.5 SA has something wrong with it....

anyone notice bid / ask very slow today versus esignal.
we are noticing a lag on IB where trades are occurring and the bid /ask is not changing or following the trade until 5-10 seconds later.
esignal is showing the movement and then IB follows the trade.
this is evident in several Nyse and Nasdaq stocks.
I have confirmed this with one remote trader out of our country.

  8. Same here...waiting....and waiting....for standalone TWS 879.
IB has this insane policy of holding back the beta standalone version about 30 days after it is introduced as the same browser-based version.
    Frankly, I don't "get it".

Yeah ... TWS(879.8 frozz up for about 15 minutes here. API seemed ok though. Trace to ib order server seemed ok.

I dont think this has happened here before-for me.
