IB Unstable Again

There have been numerous threads over the last couple of days regarding the recent instability of IB's feed (especially the European servers), but I haven't yet seen a post from someone at IB commenting on this issue.

The feed (Eurex) is pretty unstable today again, what's going on?

 

There have been comments by IB. What is the symptom you are observing?

Every few minutes (especially when the market is volatile), IB lags the market by a couple of seconds and then catches up with a burst.

 

Could you please send an email to help@interactivebrokers.com and include mg101 in the subject line.

The email should contain which instrument you are referring to, the TWS version you are running and your username so that we can trace your route.

IB datafeed is just a joke: spike, unstable, unreliable. Its platform is unstable. I don't think IB can manage to sort out the problem. You need to pay for quality third party datafeed.

 

I have been using IB for eight years and have found IB to be the best of the best. However, IB, as with all brokers, does occasionally have a problem. How long did you use IB?

 

no volume on stocks today. at least right now, in premarket.

 

There is volume on the charts.

 

no high low either
