I wish IB developers had made sure TWS could be run behind a firewall I mean what's the purpose of a web browser version if you can't use it at work? About my job, first off it's just temp, I don't intend to stay there very long since it's logistics stuff. I am working my butt off doing what nobody else wants to do. If they have a problem with my websurfing after work and during my lunch break,so be it . Hopefully I will get a job as a financial adviser in a year or so I should then be able to keep an eye on the market.
Everyone who has problems with TWS behind a firewall should make sure he is using the web version via MS Internet Explorer. I don't know why, but I can't connect with TWS standalone nor TWS web version with Netscape Navigator. However I am able to use TWS web version with the Internet Explorer!
