After finally updating my 2.5-year old TWS to the latest version I noticed that the event calendar feature has undergone massive changes. While the filter function seems pretty nice, there are also no longer any start times for events shown in the daily calendar. You have to hover the cursor over each event to see when it starts. There seems to be no way to change the layout and add a 'time' column. REALLY? This makes the whole calendar almost useless. Or is there any way to fix this?
No, you pretty much nailed it. MASSIVE Fail for IB on that one. Yet another "feature" developed by idiots who don't actually use the platform. Fail fail fucking fail. (And this is from a long-professed *fan* of IB and TWS. Doesn't matter:"Fail!") As a regular reminder of that fail, I have a calendar/whiteboard just off my screens, on which I post a month's calendar of (US, at least...) events from NASDAQ.com, or ForexFactory.com. ...
how come their time and sales dosnt show the actual mid price or improved price from dark pools, but some fictitious whole number ?
