IB TWS disable sorting function

If I accidentally click in the window title area (Underlying, Symbol, Position, etc) it sorts my page and screws up my layout.

Any way to disable this because it is a real pain to move my symbols back to the order I want them.

 

you can right click the column and return to the original.

also, can restore settings which will also solve your problems.

as for the disabling, i think programming would have to add that feature.

I notice that every time the screen refreshes (scan), you lose the sorting. Bad.

 

I've had the same happen to me, accidentally sorting a column. Like def said, you can restore using an older xml file.

The ability to disable the sorting would be great though.

 

I have accidentally sorted it as well.

I would like to be able to click on the change column and have it switch between price change and percentage change. Right now, you have to right click and select Toggle Display.

 

Why don't you just add another column. I got two columns, change and change (%) on the layout.

 

The second column takes up more screen real-estate which may not work for everyone.
