In the lastest build of TWS, Under configure> order> order defaults, there is a new drop down box named "Solictation of interest" which has as choices... Midpoint match Expose size expose side expose both expose neither. What does this mean and what might be the advantages of each. I couldn't find any literature about this. But I love the new trigger method implementation.
Thanks IBsoft. BTW, build 860 is looking good. I'm using the stand alone version. I like the new execution price column. Great addition. Well done. Keep up the good work.
IB tws workstation page says 858 is last stand alone version. When I bring up tws update box, it says I have latest version. This morning, I got a prompt to update. What's going on?
My friend has just started an IB account, and I want to send him my TWS settings, hotkeys, and quote pages without screwing up his entitlement to trade in other exchanges. Which files should I copy to him? Which file represent the permission to trade in different exchanges? Is there any page on the web to tell me the function of each file under Jts? Thanks!
I learned the hard way, to wait a few days whenever a new TWS is released. The problems with this mornings release were apparently severe enough that they removed the upgrade.
