Thanks for info. I am at a loss figuring how or where a timer is. In other words I want to start at 5.00am. Where do i do that ?

 

I assume you are talking about tws start, The program runs tws when it is not running. So when IB start up their system, at 00:30 est, tws start will run tws. It will also log you back on if tws kicks you out during the trading day, unlikely though that is. To test it, log out of tws.
