This is fantastic news. as we all know, IB's charts are shit, they had probs just last week. I was thinking of looking at Ninja. I already use TV's charts but have to still trade through IB's as they're not connected. This changes that. Will def give it a try. Those asking about data, I pay for TV's data, well worth it, the free only updates every few seconds
My problem is the order entry options and lack of hotkeys on TV make it useless for active/day trading.
www.esignal.com has IB order entry in the us. www.dastrader.com is another IB order entry application.
Can't help there I'm afraid, don't use hotkeys. One thing I've noticed though is that you can't pop-out charts on TV. At the moment I have my TI scanner and my IB chart I trade from on the same screen with TV charts on the other screen. Charts not popping out means I can't simply replace my IB chart with a TV one. I'll have to experiment with it, but might be Ninja after all.
Late July, and not happened . Can't say I'm surprised, is this actually going to happen or has it been cancelled?
I'm also missing the Tradingview Charts in TWS. Thought it would be already included in the production versions, as this feature has been listed in the release notes for some time. But it actually hasn't been included yet? Or is it just missing on the Mac version?
