for ib traders who have gotten bigger over time, how do you trade when you take position sizes that take up more than 1500 shs. I ask this coz around this level the commissions come out to be more expensive than the flat rate discount brokers. I'm starting to feel the problem and just am wondering what you guys do? thanks.
I use another broker for large share trades, and IB for 2k or less and futures. It is hard to beat IB for execution though IMO.
