ib has a known bug'' that they re trying to fix. ib option charts only go back one month on all option contracts. so dont expect to have any idea whats going on using ibs option charts, because you ll have incomplete data.

If I am not mistaken, IB does not provide historical data beyond 30 days. It has been discussed and bitched about here before. If you need that data, you have to get it from another vendor.
