I do this type of automated papertrading all the time using Matlab and the TradingWithMatlab link from www.gloriosia.com. I save the trades to arrays, print out to csv files, and even save jpegs of the days action with buy and sell points denoted on charts all in an automated fashion. I started a support forum for users of this platform at www.geocities.com/tradingwithmatlab/ Its non-profit so I don't think anyone should have a problem with me posting the link. Its a great solution for me. I'm actually adding a new papertrading system tonight.
I checked your site, but couldn't find any link that teachs the language of matlab for trading purpose, except few commands that opens, closes windows within IB TWS?
