I have opened an account with IB and trying to create forex trading system. I started working with simple demo application provided by IB.( TestJavaClient). I am able to start and connect and request market data for MSFT(their default symbol). How can I request market data for currency pair in this sample application? I am sure that everybody who trades forex with IB automatically at some point in time passed through this step. I am using the following parameters: Symbol: USD.JPY Security type: CASH Expiry: Strike: Put / Call Option Multiplier: Exchange:Idealpro Primary Exchange:Idealpro Currency: USD Local Symbol: I always get in response: 3 | 200 | No security definition has been found for the request Could anybody tell, what correct parameters for forex pair should look like?
