IB switched to shares only for L2?

But when did this happen? Can you guide me for the same. I also want to invest in some of the stocks.

 

Instead of showing either lot size, or share size, couldn't IB just implement a share size with rounding of 100? "Rounded share size" for that matter make it a user choice option.

"Select preferred L2 display"
1) share size
2) rounded share size (100)
3) lot size

 

Dear Traders, please login to TWS Beta (1011) which provides additional flexibility: via Presets - Stocks define your divisor to be 100, leave threshold 0. This will make quotes, including market depth, to display in lot sizes.

Only an IB dev would actually know that, kudos for the support...

 

I guess there's no way to only have it round the L2? I prefer Time and sales to show actual order size, although I don't use TWS time and sales because I dont like the way its colored, or the way it does the burst. So i keep tos time and sales up on the side, and use IB level 2
