A modest suggestion is to change the display setting called "Color text" so that instead of printing the name of the color as text, it prints the status as text. (Or add it as a separate option.) Then one doesn't have to go look up unusual colors elsewhere. Telling me the color is a lot less useful than telling me what the color means...

Or consider a tool tip giving the order status when mouse hovers over the order status.

Another modest suggestion is to add a "View/Positions" window for advisors that lets you see all of your positions by account. Right now, you have to use the accounts view and manually step through, checking the net position of each account.

Much better would be to see all of the positions broken out by account. Perhaps one column for each symbol, a total net position row followed by a row for each account position.

You might take a look at ButtonTrader connected to your TWS-advisory...Then all you are asking above, is available in the P&L-Matirx.

You must add an option to exclude the PSE from option smart routing: They are constantly crossing the market!

I am on another thread. It leads me to learn STP offered by IB.
Now I consider withdraw in IB is so easy to do online.
Another drawback is exposed to online fraud.

I see that IB is vulneroble to withdraw ralated to fraud. It is easy
to transfer money out to anywhere doing online.

I think STP is not wise thing to do in term of protecting withdraw exposed to fraud. To protect fraud withdraw, you can register what institutes money go and information only changed by phone. It provent hackers from withdrawing money out of others accounts. What easy way! Why IB come out STP thing?

IB expose ones who has less $100,000 to high risk to withdraw fraud.

Why IB rather choose STP than easy way?

Another modest enhancement suggestion is to associate default key bindings for window management that are fairly standard across browsers and various tools.

control-Page-Up cycles through tabbed windows to the righ and control-Page-Down cycles left.

    control-W closes the current window.

  8. One thing that I would like to add to charts is having price intervals displayed on both the left and RIGHT margin of the screen. Since the last tick is always on the right side of the screen it would be nice to have a reference there.

  9. One of the very most important flaws in IB's line charts concerns the method used for summarizing data.

Medved's Quotetracker is superior in this very important respect. A QT line chart always includes the highest and lowest prices to have been received from IB's data feed, during any particular time interval on the line chart. IB charts, on the other hand, simply determine a set of equidistant points in time, {t1, t2, t3, ...tn}, and display the prices, {p1, p2, p3, ... pn}, occuring at each one of those equidistant points in time, while totally ignoring the highs and lows and all other price action occurring in between those points in time. The result is that as the time interval of an IB chart is increased, from seconds to minutes to hours to days, they become progressively less useful, because they contain progressively less information. Yes, the charts must summarize the data, but the problem is the particular algorithm used for doing so. QT's algorithm is vastly superior and more useful. IB should adopt the same method, so that IB's line charts will become far more useful.

It's already there. Click "Configuration" on the chart. Go to "Settings". Go to the "Display Price Axis" pull-down and select "Both".
