  1. OMG.

you can easily change the limit/stop orders around yer bid (before and after fill of bid) by clicking and dragging those respective orders.

somebody pm'd this to me, and it works great.

maybe i should have "read the manual" :)

anyways, this greatly improves booktrader for me.

  2. no, maybe i have not been clear; it is not me order that stays there forever but da size present around da bid/offer....u need to constantly re-center otherwise da columns become full of bids'n'offers that aren't there anymore.

    have a nice week-end

  4. bitstream, i wasn't responding to you.

so, i can understand why u see my post as non-responsive

i had asked a while ago about putting an improvement into booktrader that would allow easy adjustment of my bracket limit and stop (note: i never increase a stop, only decrease it on YM scalps) at any time without modifying the actual # in TWS

i commented that this was one of the primary reasons i like bracket trader, altho i do find bracket trader has a slight lag, so i like booktrader better in that regards.

turns out the feature i was asking for in booktrader, was already IN booktrader, i just needed to click and drag

    three cheers to Booktrader

    lurv it even more now

I would like to have a booktrader hotkey to

Cancel all existing orders and Close All positions at market

This must be done as 1 hotkey and the orders are transmitted immediately.

This is extremely useful for short term trading.

    thanks

Add lines of market data to the quota for each security for which an account has an open position or an open order. This ensures that one always has at least 100 available for market scanner, option trading, etc.

    And perhaps a Bitstream-to-English translator :)

Under quote panels we can select the column average cost.

For stocks this is useful, but for futures, this field is not relevant.

Can have have a column to represent average index value of our postions ?

    thanks
