Yes, it is a crazy idea. We are a privately owned company and plan to remain so for the time being. While we very much like to see the requests and suggestions made by our clients, we will continue to make the final decision as to whether, what and when something gets implemented.
More entry/trailing stops options would be great - e.g. sell below 5/15 min bar. Traders could then follow more instruments, generate more commis.
no , I don't have it as a recorded document , but everytime my buy order(Smart) was execute by PHLX I had issues did not suggest to exclude PHLX completely , I suggest to create radio button choice per user, which in my case would of be"Select Smart,Excluding PHLX".It's does not take a lot of cod changes to do it,but gives every user an opportunity to NOT to do business with certain exchange(for any of his or hers reasons)
Our reasons for not allowing the user to just remove any exchange they want don't have to do with the ease of coding. It is a business decision. Unless I get convinced with the statistics to allow for the removal of PHLX, I can only recommend to you to use directed routing. Sorry.
PHLX extremely slow to confirm the market order you are a straddle/strangle player(separate legs at the time),fast confirmation that one of the legs are executed is everything. You can check the speed of execution by comparing TimeOrderEntred vs. TimeOrderComfined. I don;t have this data(only confirmation time) , but YOU dthervise , how can I submit the proof? Thanks for replaying
Do you use IB's smart leg-in combinations to execute the straddles/strangles? In case you don't, I suggest you give it a try.
