IB Stochastic Oscillator vs Tech. Analysis A to Z

    The terminology used when enter the fields for IB's stock. osc. are completely different from the indicator as described in the book A to Z.

    Also, what is displayed on the IB chart is different from the parameters entered. For example, IB chart displays %K and %D. However there is no entry for these fields. There is only observation period, fast, and slow.

    I have assumed observation periods to be %K periods. Slow to be %K slowing periods, and fast to be %D periods. However charting using these values based on the A to Z calculation produces a totally different chart than the IB chart.

    If anyone can explain the relation, so I can get the same chart using the A to Z method, would be appreciated.
