Not too thrilled that I had problems with Java 1.6_05 and 884. Had to revert to Java 1.5. Works fine Tip for anyone else in the same boat. You dont have to downgrade your Java universally. Just install 1.5 and point the IB loader to that specific versions javaw.exe. All other apps should continue to use the latest Java.
Some bugs will affect everyone, other bugs will affect most people, and still other bugs will affect minorities, small minorities, and sometimes, there will be bugs which only affect one or a few customers. Every customer uses the software differently. Some bugs appear only when software is used in a particular way. I'm not commenting on the particular features or bugs discussed in this thread, except to offer this general view on diagnosing bugs.
