I knew those pills didn't work.

Is the IB-standalone version compatible with Windows Vista?

  5. No , not at all. I assume you use a 14" monitor so the font is quite large. Nice to use old tech, very reliable.

Some of us use 24" or larger lcd, so the font at 7 or 8 pitch is an annoyance. Why should we have to strain to see the code?

    Update:

After several order entries and exchanged emails kostia suggested I un-check the over fill protection for OCA orders on the order defaults menu. It's early but so far this seems to have been my problem with the exit/stop legs of my OCO orders not working.

Anyone else having this issue might want to try his suggestion.

  8. I'm curious how everyone likes the new interface in TWS? I haven't upgraded yet and will probably not for now because I am so used to the old look. I have seen some feedback that is not very positive so I've decided not to upgrade yet... Thanks.

  10. TWS 882.2
    Java 1.6.0_5
    XP SP3
    8500 with 4G ram.

TWS and SierraChart are running on a 1G ramdisk for speed and silence.

Runs beautifully. Have used browser based 884s and they were ok but haven't seen a need to move up to 884. Haven't had a backfill issue on Sierra Chart in the last six months that wasn't IB server related.

IB, perhaps you could certify a version on 1.6.0_6 jre and give us a reason to move to it. If you're still on 1.5 it seems like its time to catch up.
