If you enter snap-to-mid order to execute at specified time in TWS and don't have realtime market data, does IB use delayed BID/ASK price to make MID limit order or just sends it to exchange and use realtime data from there?

  2. why don't you ask IB?

He probably didn't want to wait a day to hear back from IB. It's actually a good question, but if you trade with delayed data, just enter the limit order manually to be safe. If you do this frequently, then IB will give you realtime quotes for free for stocks and ETFs.
