Ib Shorting

It appears that MB Trading also does not have any shares available short for IWM.

IWM must be shorted heavily or something.

some of the ETF's are not availble, I remember researching this and confirming this many months ago. in regards to your specific questions, our stock loan desk is researching this. I hoped to have a response this AM but haven't heard back yet (keep in mind I'm in Hong Kong).

IWM is available. The wierd thing is that yeterday MDY was shortable.. and today its not.

IB's list is very fickle.

Just why is it that soo many issues are not available via IB but readily available via my other accounts ?

I would like a bit more of an explanation than you have posted thus far ....
