IB rate check

  1. In the event I am mad enough to trade BB's at IB, am I correct that the .02% rate applies to these in large numbers?

So 100,000 shares at 2 cents ($2000 worth of stock) = a $4 commission one way?

Pretty sure this is the case, but wanted to check with you guys since I know you trade the pennies with abandon.

I thought they only allowed you to sell BB stocks at IB. In case you transferred any from another brokerage but I don't know if you are allowed to buy them.

You can trade BB stocks through IB, and yes, your commission calculation is correct. (100,000 x $0.02 x 0.002)

stock777, your calculation is right for the bundled pricing. However, for unbundled pricing, no such maximum ceiling form commissions exist according to the IB chat CSR.
