Considering they have 4,6 billion USD in client deposits, 80 million is nothing.

I think you mean reserves, not client deposits. I think they have $170 Billion in customers deposits.

To give precise figures which are publicly available and readily found on our website:

As of July 31, $218.6 billion in client equity and over $8.2 billion in group equity capital.
Last quarter, net revenues were $539 million and income before income taxes was $222 million.

I know of no other electronic broker offering the number of products we do globally. The complexities of managing positions in one account via various entities on over 135 markets in 33 countries in 23 currencies isn't as simple as some may think. I'll leave it at that.

I was just trolling you guys a bit with my posts in this thread. I know a $90 million hit was relative peanuts for IB.

IB has grown so big, which is great for the shareholders and employee share options.

But it is not so great for the smaller traders like myself.
I have been a IB customer from 2004. But now have to switch to a different broker after all these years.

I have this month moved my trading which is a Java based ATS from IB, to AMP for clearing and the Rithmic api as the execution platform.

Funny I have issues getting 50 ticks profit target filled on intraday basis :D:D:D
Where is the fucking volatility for $9602??
Even 8 weeks move is about 600 ticks from low to high...
