I just wanted to check with others who use IB. I have experienced two problems, one several times, the other just today. At the open of the markets, I have noticed on several occasions that bid/ask quotes were off--the bid would be higher than the ask on all equities on my market data screen (wish this were the truth!). After several minutes, the problem would clear itself up. Today, at market close, VRTS was ripe for a good 30¢ short. Quote.com and e-signal showed this, but the IB quotes were frozen. I was handcuffed! Anyway, IB has acknowledged the problem at open via chat, but today they said I was the only one who asked about the quotes freezing at the close today. Anyone else? PS: I've been using IB for almost two months now and use the PC-based platform, not browser.
