Many of the specialist on the NYSE are worse than market makers and I do not think looking at the bid/offer and size change can tell one much;If it did, I would be very rich by now as I have been trading since 1972. Well, we all know the specialist game, and what order route we use is not so important. It is trying to figure what large buy or sell order the specialist has on his book and then play his game with him (easier said than done). Catoosa
