IB pegged-to-stock order limitations

Discussion in 'Order Execution' started by sondermark, Nov 10, 2010.

  1. Hi,

I am setting up a trading operation doing systematic options trading (high volume). In this strategy pegged-to-stock orders are of the utmost importance and an essential part of the system.

Unfortunately IB restricts the number of concurrent active pegged-to-stock orders to just three(!).

Anyone know why this restriction is in place? (Does not make sense to me).
Or preferably, who I can talk to negotiate to have this limit increased.

News to me. Another reason native exchange peg orders would be good.

All of my testing with peg orders on IB or TS have been disappointing. Has anyone had a better experience?
