IB paper account with Tradingview

I am not sure if anyone has success signing into their IB paper account with tradingview. I keep on getting "Paper trading with live credentials is not allowed." However, live accounts do work.

 

How exactly does this integration work? Can you place orders from Tradingview and execute them on IBKR?

 

Makes sense that using free demo accounts doesn't have full integrations enabled.

 

Paper trading accounts have separate credentials. That's the message you're seeing.

 

Since when was IB´s integrations completed. I didn´t notice IB can be selected as broker. Did someone trade on this combination.?

 

Redit reports that Ib and TradingView intergration started working on Friday.

I couldn´t connect to IB. Message was "your credentials were not accepted".
But TWS works fine.
