@def I will definitively do that as soon as The issue will re-appear. As stated before, the delay tend to appear during period of high volatility in the markets. It happened a while ago for a couple of days and every day March 2020.(especially overnight, trading DAX if my memory serve me well) Hence my speculation that was caused by additional checking of margin or whatever introduced by IB. Strange thing as reported in my previous post, is that adaptive order are affected while "straight" lmt-mkt order are less affected. Currently there are no issue to report to You, everything is working as expected.
Hi, I've also seen the "not yet acknowledged" state on my live account when I tried to buy DAX IOPTs issued by Goldman Sachs. It happened for both limit and market orders after 21:00 CET and those orders never were acknowlegded, I had to cancel them after several minutes. I've tried these orders on both FWB and SWB for the past few days and after 21:00 the problem always happened. IOPTs from other issuers worked fine.
Thank you very much for your assistance. Hopefully it will ok from now on. Update from Thursday: Yesterday I was just on the live account and made just a few trades. I didn't have any problems this time although I didn't place many orders anyway. No fake orders far from the price this time. I must confess that I felt insecure, always expecting the same issue could happen at any moment. Anyway, now I have to regain my confidence in the system.
Update from Friday: Yesterday I've traded on the live account for a short while and then switched for the paper account for testing. I didn't have any order stuck or with delay. I guess this might be good news. Let's see how it goes next week.
Hello everyone. Just a follow up for this week: I had no time to use my paper account but was trading on my real account and had no problems with any of my orders. I hope any of you haven't had problems as well. This week the market was quite slow though. In any case no problems is always good news.
Hello. Hopefully this will be my last follow up regarding the delays with IB's orders. Despite some testing I've made last week in the paper account, I have been trading most of the time in my live account. Fortunately no more order delays on both accounts. To be fair, the market has also been quieter since I had those problems. I hope this is it and the problem is over. Thank you to everyone that contributed and tried to help.
