IB Order Execution.

    Hi there,

    in the last couple of weeks I noticed a lag of time between pressing the Transmit button and the order turning into green. Have you experienced similar problems in the ES trading?

    I've definitely noticed a slight lag, about 1/2 to 1 second today in transmitting my nq orders. I also see it somewhat in my stock trades.

    Another problem is that occasionally today i've gotten the error message "could not value contract" when trying to place an order. Usually the order goes through on the second try but its still disconcerting. I'm guessing some of ib's servers are not running at full capacity.

    Please send an email to IB helpdesk w/ an example of a specific order you experienced problems with. You should include either a very precise time-stamp of the order, or the username. That will make the search much faster.

    By including mg101 token on the subject line, you will ensure that the email will get routed to a developer who will immediately investigate.
