Those are the only lines in my audit trail for MDC. I have raised a ticket with IB, I will keep you updated on what happens.

  2. Strange that you got filled, with no Fill message trail. Are you switching between accounts, maybe?

I noticed you are using GTC orders. Could the fills have happened from some previous, forgotten, orders?

Just trying to come up with something...

Oh well, definitely let us know what happened. I'm sure all IB users are interested.

    Good luck.

Do I need to be running TWS for orders/fills to show up in the audit trail? Because i was not running it all day.

That is a good point about a previous order, i did not consider that as I did not see anything in the audit trail, but maybe old orders just do not show up?

Yes, your TWS needs to be running. Send a ticket to CS, they will be able to send you the audit trails for the orders in question.

The audit trail doesn't show the execution. Like all the other threads with similar accusatory titles, I'd wager my house that the order was filled due to your lack of understanding or misuse of the TWS.

Support is saying that there was a pre-existing sell order at 4.3. I guess I am an idiot.

  7. Stuff like this is why we're treated like idiots when we call IB support.

I usually have to spend 10 minutes just convincing whoever answers that I have a clue.

    heh.

  8. Nah. Like all of us, there is so much stuff to know and do.

It all has to be forced and ingrained on our souls. Can't count the dumbass things I do everyday...

    Good trading to all.
