Can someone put a screen shot of IB's NYSE open book on this thread?

I would like to see what it looks like.

To see the open book do you always have to click on market depth or can you just type new symbols into the open book?

the open book is just like the market depth feature. just select market depth, and the open book is exactly the same.
it is a market depth you see when the line has a default exchange of NYSE. that's all.

you can't type the symbol in the open book view.

  3. you have to open it for every stock you look at. its a hassle. if it were linked to our charting software it would be a lot nicer.

I just want to be sure the only way to change stocks in the open book is to add the ticker and right click to market depth?

It will not let me type a symbol in the open book window to change stocks, right?
