IB Nightmare!

    I just can't get an option quote,nothing comes up!

    Anyone else with this problem or is it just me?
  2. IB... is working REALLY HARD to fix your problem... or at least that is the BS they would feed you.

  4. i just tried a few option quotes. no problem here.
  5. Call customer service. They are having some problems today, but I haven't heard that particular one. I'm not trading options though.

    I did that ages ago!No reply yet,and knowing IB it won't be till next week!

    Hold on!I've been pissing around for ages and I decided to close QT and see what happened and everything was ok!

    So it's not IB(my apologies)!

    So Jerry what's going on?
  9. Emails to the help desk are not correct IB protocol for complaining about a time-sensitive issue, are generally discouraged by IB, and are subject to very low priority. The correct procedure is to open a trouble ticket from the account management page of the IB website, or to phone for urgent issues or to use IB chat. I would advise against using IB chat, and stick to trouble tickets, or use the phone if you can't wait.

    IB chat is down more often than not, when you really need it.
