IB new forex spreads

it went one wide again there for about 30 seconds ---maybe bitching online helps.

The situation is simple:
If it stays 2pips+commissions
I am moving my business to Oanda.
1,5pips with no commissions is cheaper
for my trade-sizes.

 

it was a joke and it is always good to have more than one account. I like Oanda.

 

It was a bad week for Forextrader who use IDEALPRO.

The EUR/USD Spread has changed from 1-2 Pips to 2-3 Pips


After five tradingdays it doesn t look like a temporary mistake, looks like this spread is the new standard on Idealpro :-(

 

On Friday during RTH it was fluctuating (most of the time) between [size=large]2 [/size] and [size=large]4 [/size] pips!

Looks like I will have to move to the futures then, not happy.

To bad, IB was just getting going. Takes a while for folks to know about ya.

IB tell us what has changed?

 

i think one of the mm's had some issues last week. hopefully they'll resolve them and go back to quoting tight next week.

Is the sms alert service also available for Europe? I couldn't find anything about the alert function in the online User Guide. Thanks.
