Here is what my log said from last night. Notice that the data farm connection says 'broken' for cusfuture while the others are reporting 'OK'. This is after the reset was completed and everything was supposed to be back up and running. Message from IB: Market data farm connection is broken:cusfuture. IB Error Code: 2103. Request ID: -1. | 2011-01-14 00:18:35 Message from IB: Market data farm connection is OK:usfarm. IB Error Code: 2104. Request ID: -1. | 2011-01-14 00:18:35 Message from IB: HMDS data farm connection is inactive but should be available upon demand.ushmds2a. IB Error Code: 2107. Request ID: -1. | 2011-01-14 00:18:35 One message I noticed just prior to when cusfuture was disconnected that did not appear anywhere else was the following: Message from IB: Market depth data has been RESET. Please empty deep book contents before applying any new entries.. IB Error Code: 317. Request ID: 5. Symbol: CL-201102-NYMEX. | 2011-01-14 00:00:57 After this message, cusfuture was disconnected and TWS never attempted to reconnect it. I checked previous nights this week that had no problem and they also had this message so it is probably unrelated to the problem but the difference is that on the previous nights cusfuture was reconnected a few seconds later and last night it never was even attempted.
