Hey, "millionaire".. "Seriously, i have been a customer with IB for 13 years. Bugs happen every now and then. Normally down to human error." Ok, sure. But... "...Hopefully they do not cost traders too much money. But i don't think they can be 100% avoided. " You see that bolded bit above? If that was a situation I was facing with my broker, I would be on a plane to their HQ, because the above bolded is NOT ACCEPTABLE. "Hopefully they don't cost traders too much money?!??!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!?!???????????!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" How is that acceptable to you? Oh, I get it. You do not have real money on the line. Geez. What a maroon I am. I am so stupid!!!!!!!!! How can I have not realized! OMG! I am so sorry millionaire, you are an IB GOD, and nothing they do is wrong, and we should just ACCEPT ALL OUR LOSSES, EVEN THROUGH IB ACCOUNTING ERRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
You can find ET's sponsors at the bottom of each page, in the dark blue section. Do you see IB listed there? There used to be an IB rep using handle @def, but this account seems not active any longer.
That's not exactly what I meant. I can see sponsors, I'm not new here. The IB employee accounts are what I was talking about. I had thought that was what pr people were assigned to do.
About 6 years ago a bug in the IB back end cost me a several ticks in FESX (eurro stoxx 250). The IB rep had no idea how much i lost and i did not even mention it to him, but he said i should make a request for compensation. As it was only a few ticks i did not bother, that is what i meant by 'hopefully it does not cost you much'. Now if anyone losses large amounts money due to IB software bug they should definitely pursue it further and try to get all of the money back from IB.
Seems they fixed the ADD ALL options bug , so only the options that are showing get added. Took at least two years to fix that one.
