Hi, Does anybody on here have experience with Limit-on-open orders? I had a limit-on-open order in for 100 AAPL at 210.00. But it didnt execute (even though the price opened well below my limit price) and I got an error message saying: "Your limit order did not execute at the opening price". And then the order cancelled itself like its supposed to. But I wonder why it didn't execute? This was using the Paper trader, My account has cash 100k so I had enough to easily cover the margin. Any ideas guys? I will call IB on monday to find out what the Go is but it would be nice if I could have an idea beforehand. Cheers. Nizar.
