IB- long the stock sell the Single stock future

    Okay,

    I was on the phone with the IB representative who didn't know the answer.

    you have 100,000 cash in your account.

    You buy $100,000 worth of MSFT, and sell single stock futures in the amount of $100,000.

    Can you purchase $300,000 worth of say GE, or $400,000 or neither?
