IB login problems this week

  1. OK, I know this problem has been mentioned in another thread, but I decided to start one focused on this issue.

    When I get the pink background, TWS makes repeated attempts to login without success. So I close the TWS window, and when I attempt to launch it again, there seems to be a newer version that it downloads.

    IS IB changing TWS versions in the middle of the trading day?
     
  2. none of that here. maybe a connection problem on your end.
     
  3. I'm not having that problem either. Are you using the web based TWS or standalone? Standalone doesn't download anthing unless you OK it.
