OK, I know this problem has been mentioned in another thread, but I decided to start one focused on this issue. When I get the pink background, TWS makes repeated attempts to login without success. So I close the TWS window, and when I attempt to launch it again, there seems to be a newer version that it downloads. IS IB changing TWS versions in the middle of the trading day?
I'm not having that problem either. Are you using the web based TWS or standalone? Standalone doesn't download anthing unless you OK it. OldTrader
